Neymar #RESPECT

Reportedly, Neymar turned down a 11 million euro a year contract with Madrid for a 7 million euro contract at Barcelona to play alongside his idols. The brave lad, how on earth can he be expected to cope on such a meagre wage?

Still, at least I can say Neymar ONLY earns 200 times my own wage, huh?

I have to get off my train a zone early and walk because I can't afford the extra £2.30 for the full fare into London...

Ridiculous figures, but I suppose the clubs must make a return on the investment.

Just as an aside (and not a snipe), I think there are plenty of people who would be happy to earn 35,000 euros pa, never mind 7 million.

Indeed don't get me wrong, It wasnt intended to be a bitter remark towards the amount, more disbelief that the joke sites are using this sort of logic as a reason to 'respect' him.

Should also mention I'm touched you took the ten seconds to work that out TDA, I was worried my cryptic coding of my own wage might of been in vain

Oops, the respect thing passed me by altogether....we could do with a "whoosh!" smiley!, but will have to do.

He probably chose Barca so he could have his own private beach.
