Without in any way meaning any harm to genuine rape victims, there is a growing trend in certain types of women crying rape at the nearest professional sportsman because they're aware of the money making possibilities.

Its contextual though isn't it. The man had passed therefore his career couldn't be condemned. Remy is still a young, active player. Headlines like this, while accurate in their information, generate an assumption of guilt in most readers, potentially damaging his livelihood.

Savile's case is different - he wasn't exposed for so long because there was never a proper investigation into him, so very little for the media to report and over-hype.
