The Wrexham chief exec is very disparaging of Forest Green's lack of pedigree, history and heritage in comparison with Wrexham, calling them a village team that has a benefactor with a few bob:

Obviously sour grapes for losing their top scorer to Forest Green, but the attitude that the football world owes them a living because of their history isn't going to do them any good. Pedigree and heritage count for nothing when moving forward, and Wrexham need to face up to the realities of football life if they're going to climb back up.

Sour grapes indeed! History & tradition are all very well, but f*ck all use when you are dead in the water in the football wilderness.
Forest Green have a nice little set up and no doubt will be knocking on the door of the football league within a few years. I'm no particular fan of green issues, but my godson is on their books!
