And that dual English/Welsh announcement that's going continuously is enough to send a sane man on a killing spree let alone a tired, hungry, angry man.

Ah Welsh train services Arkay! I particularly like the screens announcing first that your intended train is on time which then changes to information that is has arrived and is accompanied by an audio announcement that ' the train approaching platform 7 is......' when all the while the station is totally empty and there is not a train to be seen even with the most high powered binoculars.

Cardiff is almost unrecognizable from the City I grew up in but one thing that has unquestionably remained the same, the s**t trains. Sat on one now that looks like an antique and has the pace of an arthritic snail. Going to keep an eye out for any graffiti I may have scrawled on it as a youth.

I use Arriva Trains every day. If the train is delayed for just six days out of seven, it's a good week.
