We are still 7 points clear!

We are in a wobble at the moment, no more, it's just how long the wobble persists and how many wheels fly off that will determine the final outcome of this season

This is when Bellars and whitts need to justify there wages.

For me Bellars hasn't all season and whitts has lost the plot in the 2nd half of another season.

They might just need some rest and with Noone, kimbo and Mason on the bench there is no reason why Malky isn't able to do this

If from the position we are in now we end up only achieving a playoff spot, Tan would sack Malky in a heartbeat, and I'd already have his bag packed.

Come on this is stupid, Malky achieved wonders last season with effectively a scratch team. Achieving the play offs with last years ensemble of free transfers and cheap steals was a master stroke and even with this years big spending we still don't have as good a team as at least Blackburn, Bolton, Wolves and Leicester

As the OP said, we're still top, even if its 5 points clear and not 7 as stated. If anyone had said last August that we'd be in this position, we'd have all laughed. We were playing away to a team just outside the playoffs who had been on an awful run and were due a win. We've had a fabulous away run, taking I don't know how many points out of a possible I don't know how many plus a very small number, so arguably we were due a defeat. The stats say we were 50/50 on possession and had marginally more shots on goal.

We can't win every game. But we're still in a great position, and we are going to get there. The fans cannot start bottling it at this stage.

Even when we lose we put in a good spirited performance. This is not like other seasons where we're just waiting for the seams to come apart.

This time around the lads are solid, no team goes a whole season unbeaten (except Arsenal 2004)

They just have to keep going in the same way and City will remain top.

If we end up in the playoffs we've got no chance of progressing... this is not a big game one off match side ... Malky is playing a percentage, fine margin, season long game (or we have just been lucky) ... its shite or bust.. top 2 or championship next year

My comment was meant light heartedly. But the part about Tan sacking him I see being plausible. He doesn't seem a patient man, and I wouldn't want to be in Malky's shoes if we end up carrying out one of the greatest bottle jobs in our history.
