Hmmmmm.... 9th December 1989. FA Cup Round 2 Cardiff City v Gloucester City..... At 80 mins Cardiff were 2-0 to non league Gloucester who I remember had a completely bald goalie.
Anticipating what was sure to be a humiliating cup loss me and my mate decided for the first time to leave early.
on comes Morrys Scott who managed to bag two very late goals, including if I recall from the highlights, a sort of bicycle kick screamer from the edge of the of in the last minute to force a 2-2 draw.
We won the reply and got QPR in the third round - this was the game after which we were "burgled" and had the gate money stolen.
I have never left early again......

I have to be careful what I put here, but basically we had about £50,000 in a safe after the QPR game and someone managed to break into the safe overnight and took the gate money.
I believe there was a suggestion that there may have been an inside job.
