I assumed that we all have robot-butlers by now who could serve me breakfast and the morning papers in bed. Like an obedient dog that doesn't s**t or leave fur everywhere.

I think this is why I get so insanely angry when phone fails to act like a phone, or the fridge door doesn't shut as it should or when the hoover won't pick up every last piece of dirt and I have to actually manually bend down to pick it up and put it in the bin.
