How are we doing on football manager then gents? Anyone doing anything particularly interesting?

I've started a pentagon challenge. Have to win each continental competition ( Champions league, Copa Libertadores etc ), with only players from the country you're managing in. Oh and you have to start unemployed and get a job in the lowest league in that country. Solid.

That would take an age to complete! I'm in the year 2023 and I am the Cardiff manager, after starting unemployed, we are currently one of the top 4 teams in the PL. Best I can manage

Is the 'pentagon challenge' an a official thing or did you just make it up?


Also, out of interest, what is the furtherest year has everyone else got to? My longest was 2026 back on FM2011 - stopped because I bought FM2012.

On the Pentagon, I'm top of the MLS, 4 points clear, trying to clear out the foreigners, as dangerously nationalistic as that sounds

Nice! It does sometimes feel like the game conspires against you though for no reason other than you are kicking ass..don't get complacent would be my half time team talk :)
