Great goal. Quite confident that a trial will be as far as it goes though. Poor git wont even get a nice holiday out of it when he comes over here.

It seems fairly certain that he doesn't qualify yet and won't do while he is back in Malaysia again.

It continues the links that Tan wants to maintain between us and Malaysia but i am not expecting a Malyasian signing any time in the foreseeable future.

The Development squad is about as far as he'll get in the first instance.

Maybe my standards are too high, but the only thing good about that goal was the finish. His first touch was clumsy and he simply got lucky with the bounce, and the second touch was even worse and against a half decent defender he'd of lost the ball. The finish was quality, but I'm yet to, or probably ever will, be convinced that luck isn't a massive factor from that range. All you have to do is hit the ball hard and at the right angle, where it goes from there is rarely aimed.

Vincent Tan talking Malky into signing players is something I hoped I'd never hear. This deeply concerns me.

I know it's hard to tell because of the standard of the opposition, but I can see more in this guy at 18 than I've ever seen in Rudi.

Agree it's a worry if Tan starts to dictate who we sign.

Give the kid a trial...work permit seems to cause issues for international players though normally.
