Subbuteo!!

Did anybody play this as a kid? I didn't realise until quite recently when a friend of mine tried to get one for his kid that they just don't make 'em anymore (or at least, are very hard to get hold of).

Used to love playing this. I had my pitch mounted on chipboard, painted my own teams and still have them all in box somewhere. Saying that, they might be worth a pretty penny these days...

Nice! Didn't get to play that, although I still have this and used to enjoy thwacking a ball bearing at the cats using this

Super Striker was the best IMO....

Ahh subbuteo, they were the days, or, as it turns out are the days. I did used to enjoy it as a kid, but I'd always end up standing on half my team after a game. I always get the need to get it out of the attic and have a game, but I always think it's one of those things that sound better than it actually is, like going to a theme park.

I was obsessed. Painted my own team, made up players names, named the team St.Mellons utd and had regular games against our local rivals, Cardiff City. Oh, and I kid you not, we played in Red!
