For me, bit of a mercenary, could be another Fowler, but commercially a good idea, may do a job for us, and IF we get Bellamy too, then could be amazing

He'll never play in the Championship. He'll probably look for a final payday abroad somewhere...

I doubt he's the type to risk a physical assault on himself which most strikers in the championship are exposed to though his profile might get him some protection from referees.

He said in an interview a while back, that the Championship is not an option, that I quote by the way he seemed very patronising at the time. Hope I'm wrong but as the Officer said, he'll go abroad and get huge wages somewhere.

If he did come - a welcome addition! Could give him some confidence back and could play a similar role to what chops did for us - but maybe better?

Would be enough to give a lot of championship defences the shivers...

Agree entirely! Both their wages could be a stumbling block. Fingers crossed though.

I'd rather we went for someone proven at this level than a mercenary who probably would struggle given his Bambi like manner. All he does is get injured or complain. Not the type of player we want here. People have got used to the team effort shown by Cowie, Kiss, Aron, Kev, etc. If we sign another player who is like Bothroyd the fans will be on his back straight away and thats not good for the team.

We need a bit of a brute up front.

no. His legs have probably gone and he would want to finish his career at some big paying club in america or china.
