While its probably irrelevant since mobiles can't yet catch malware, I run chrome on my iPhone and it still works fine.
I wouldn't worry too much about it though, my reckoning is that the sites they link to for the live streams are often malware distributors, that could translate in google's code as CCMB being responsible.

Just googled footy ad malaware and it looks like lots of teams mb's have been getting the same problem. I haven't had a problem THF, until I clicked one of those links for the city v Leeds stream on saturday

I'd never once had an ad, pop up, local slags, nothing on CCMB until yesterday when I got the malware warning. I'd understand if people hadn't been complaining about it for weeks but all the signs were there.
I doubt it's Mike's fault if all of footy mad is infected though.
