Along with King is it thought that the futures of big names such as Jack Butland, Nathan Redmond, Chris Burke and Nikola Zigic are very much up in the air.

.

Yes please. I'd have Burke back, I know we've got Noone and Conway. still. Would love him back.
Butland would be great too!

As good as Burke was when he joined here initially he wasn't that brilliant by the time he left. He seems to have mostly rediscovered form and confidence at Birmingham but i really don't see a space for him in the squad anymore especially if we get promoted this season.

With Noone, Conway, Bellamy, Kim, Smith and perhaps, mostly incorrectly, Cowie able to play wide i don't think he is needed or would be likely to force his way into the side.

Butland hasn't quite lived up the hype this season but i think he will be a class goalkeeper and he is still only 19. In principal i would take him as a backup which would surely mean Lewis or Parish leaving but a goalkeeper is not our top priority and i am not sure if Butland would want to make a move to us to be backup.

If either of them were signed on top of the right defenders and forwards needed then that is fine - it is not my money after all B'ham offloading some talent? 692773407

I do agree, I just miss Burke, he loved the city. Nostalgia more than tactical sense.

Christ not Zigic. ANYONE but Zigic. I've watched enough Birmingham games to not even be sure whether he can kick a ball properly. Does no one remember last season's home game against them? Open shot on goal with Marshall in no position to make the save, yet he PASSED it across the box?

The only one of these I'd want would be Butland but Marshall has been immense this season, so only as a backup.

No to Burke. We have better already plus that whole squad of Big Time Charlies of the 09/10 squad (Whitts & Marshall excluded) can bugger off as far as I'm concerned. I know Burke looked like he cared at the end but his performances prior to that were, frankly, pants.

It still hurts too much... Sad

Was devastated when Burke left us, but he's no longer the same player. I think Butland is an average goalkeeper, at that. Can think of six or seven keepers better than him at this level alone. Redmond however is a shining light!

It's funny the players you end up missing or at least are sad to see go at the time.

For the same reason that he seemed to love City i always liked Purse and for all his dodgy performances he would also pull out a few 'backs to the wall' heroic performances. I thought he was an excellent captain too.

Hudson of course has taken both the performance levels and recently the captaincy ability onto a new level now.

None of the aforementioned. Surely we have set our sights higher than Birmingham. The only one worth a look is Redmond and he seems to have lost his way.

Malky would get the best out of Redmond, and I like Butland but he would only join if he could be number 1 and that's unlikely at the minute with Marshall doing well.

Is Curtis Davies worthwhile? Never noticed him but he's played in the Prem

I still think Gestede has a lot of potential personally. Let's loan him out next season and you will see he develops into a quality player. He is still only young.
