Velikonja to leave?

Rumours abound tonight Etien Velikonja is being scouted by Real Socediad potentially for an imminent move. Malky's true opinion of Velcro is about to be properly tested it seems. It would be sad to see him go since he arrived with some promise, but clearing his 27K a week salary off the books would make some space for some good replacements.

No, I heard from a lot of people it was £7,000 a week. He was only on £750 a week at Maribor!

I saw 27, can't say you're wrong and I'm right though (did think my figure was a little silly though so tempted to side with you). Either way, might as well clear it off if its not value for money.

Well I'd rather have Fraizer so he might as well go! All I need is Kiss in the team and this will be a perfect season...

What puzzles me about the Velcro situation is that Malky has said that he had tracked the player for some time and had tried to sign him before. Given how thorough he normally is, you would have thought that he would well know what he was getting.

Add to that the fee of 2m Euros and salary of £7K per week, that is the best part of £2m sitting idle........I do wonder what Mr Tan thinks about that.....

I hope they give Fraizer the number 9 shirt.
