Surely with Snowpocalypse coming tomorrow morning, there should be a weather thread. I'm considering going to Tesco and looking for a sled...
Anyone care to make snowfall predictions?

There will be snow. Probably quite a lot of it. I'm feeling quite flakey at the thought......

My predictions:
At the first sighting of a snowflake the Valleys bints in work will be trying to bugger off home early.
There will be scenes reminiscent of the Apocalypse in Tesco Metro on the way home.

I think the snow will be arriving in droves from the early hours onwards, right through the morning rush hour and on towards lunch time. So I suspect the bints won't even make it into work.
Definitely a shortage of milk in the supermarkets. Why is it always milk?

So, milk shortages are down to people hoarding the cows in underground shelters?

I bought milk today but I had it delivered rather than going to the shop....so to make up for it, I shoved the delivery man and grabbed it right out of his hands. Almost as satisfying.

AAAAAAARRRRRRGGHH!! Get bread, get milk AAAAAAAAARRRRGGHH!! I bloody hate snow, but what I hate worse is the uncertainty. Do you head to work, it's ok in my street but what's it like on the motorway, what's it like where I'm going, what if it gets worse and I can't get back??? I'll tel you what snow is, it's a king size pain in the s**t chute.

That's the spirit have your own personal panic buying on a one to one basis with a travellng stranger on the comfort of your own doorstep... There's a door to door Cabbage Patch doll, Tracy Island, articulated Buzz Lightyear and Furby salesman doing the rounds... I'll send him your way

I can't help but fully agree with you!
I hate driving in heavy snow. My wife is now 5 days overdue and it would be bloody typical if the baby decides to come tomorrow! I really hope he/she doesn't!

I'm looking forward to making a snowman and a snowdog with knitted socks for ears and spending a magical night at the North Pole dancing with a variety of snow characters until the sun comes up and the magic spell is broken... When I realise I've taken bad acid and wake up semi naked with frost bite in the company of hobos... but the dog has become real... and is licking my nads

My assumption is that it will be like the film The Road, and all wildlife and plant life will cease to exist, meaning humans will be forced to cannibalise each other. Then the snow will melt and the survivors will feel a bit silly.
