Man it was off the scale nuts... but fecking freezing.... Really great bars, restaurants (we racked up several Michelin stars as well as a fair few currywursts and schnitzels), museums (I am a gentleman of increasing years) but there were over a 100,000 construction sites so everything was either being dug up or covered in scaffolding... Weird mix of architecture with the drab eastern European building next to ultra modern futuristic buildings... I imagine it would be what Blade Runner would've have looked like if Ridley Scott had filmed it in Gilfach Goch...

Amazing! Autobahn scary or amazing?

Travelled by public transport everywhere so didn't see any Autobahns.... the U-Bahn is their underground which funnily enough was the most punctual system I have ever seen
