Not sure at the moment... May go out for the night or may stay in with Hootenanny and Club Night (Norman Jay's Good Time Set) scratch ... So what's everyone else got planned?

Going to a mates house for a party/gathering, I was thinking about getting pissed as usual, but I'm now leaning towards driving, not drinking and getting up for a run nice and early tomorrow morning. I just don't know if I'll be able to resist a drink, or 2, or 10.

Oh it's inevitable Valley, or at least 99% likely, however I'm clinging onto that 1% at the moment, tryng to convince myself I can stay sober whilst all around me drink themselves stupid. But I'm weak, I know I'm weak.

I'm out with most of my rugby team at a party round the team captain's house down Fairwater.

I refuse to go in to town, I last did it 7 years ago and it was £30 quid every time I tried to get in somewhere and the taxi home was £35, over double what it is normally.

I'm afraid i have to sound Scroogist about this but i really hate New Year. Not being a partyish type person i let it pass me by. I will either find something non Hogmany to watch on TV or possibly break into my new collection of CD's i got at Christmas that i haven't begun to listen to yet. Take advantage that everyone is supposed to be awake anyway and crank the volume up.

Despite that i hope that everyone who is going out / partying hard tonight has a great evening and stays safe. May your New Years Day hangover not be too fearsome New Year's plans 692773407

I was painting the front door in May when they came round the corner and tried their luck. I couldn't escape so i started talking about how Christianity was the fastest growing religion in the world due to its popularity in China and that communism had previously felt threatened by religion as it gave people an alternative to the state.

It appeared they must know f@&k all about history because they actually told me they had to go! Never experienced that before.

Alternatively I might have bored them shitless but either way you know how to get rid of them if you don't fancy locking them in the cellar.

Chloroform, on a yellow duster (B&M do an excellent value range) stright armed to the mouth the instant you open the door... A good witness will last up to 18 months but probably benefit from a freshen up in the spring

The film "girl with a dragon tattoo" when he says he kept an immigrant in a cage springs to mind...

I believe that scene was only in the Malaysian cut of the movie.... I've seen the "The Girl with a Bluebird Tattoo" one of my all time favourite blue movies
