There is something deliciously bizarre about hearing the lyrics "You can pick up an axe and go crazy but i can grow legs from my head" sung in a swing style

Yes I quite enjoyed it... Carpenter's The Thing is one of my favourite horror films so I was pleasantly surprised.... Even if it is a bit samey

I kept waiting for the new Thing to veer away from the basic plot of the original but it never quite did. I think they were so focused on not sullying the name of the classic original they played it too safe.
