I'm going for the tax dodging redknapp. I think he could do wonders with that team

Would Redknapp coach Wales? I know he had a look in for the Russia job and he declared himself uninterested. No offence to the team, but Wales is a pretty small time job for someone of his prestige. I think he'll head bak into premiership management in time, or he'll hold out and hope Hodgson goes so he gets the job he really wanted.

I doubt very much he would want to be our manager, who would after last night. Question was though who would you WANT, not who do you think!!

................scrap the Wales and other home international sides altogether and go with Team GB.
Individually, including England, they are crap, but together they might stand a chance of winning something..............Rule Britannia!

Harry is not a coach, he is a manager. Like many senior/highly paid 'managers' he rarely goes near the training ground. I get the impression thar Speed was a coach. Coleman looks like neither. So, the first question you would need to address is what are you looking for, a coach or a manager?

If I was the Wales manager, the first coach out of town!
It's tricky a job to take on...
a) you hardly ever get to actually manage a game - surely most managers enjoy the highs, lows and pressures of league competition.
b) Wales are crap who have just a handful or decent players.

I wouldn't say Wales are crap. I was looking at some stats and Speed won 50% of all matches Wales played under his guidance and came close to getting a point against England. We are weaker in defence and attack but our midfield is good international standard with quality players.
In terms of who I would like...I don't know! I don't think Giggs will be a good manager. I would prefer a Welsh coach, but who is there? I would say Tony Pulis is the highest performing Welsh manager now Speed is gone. But his style would not work in a team of technically gifted midfielders and where there isn't much physical prowess beyond James Collins. So maybe we should look at recent achievements. Brian Flynn worked wonders with the under-21's.
If we went foreign, I would love to give it to Solskjaer. I'm wondering if it's realistic or not, as his wages would be around our budget, but would he want Wales?!

The FAW appointed Mike Smith Wales Manager. Never heard of him . Wales reached the last eight of the Euro's at that time - The infamous Ninian Park game v Yugoslavia. A grand day out apart from the result.

Terry Venables. International experience, available, bit old but might fancy one last crack at things, Welsh connections.
