Danny is available as a free agent I believe. Worth us signing him on a short term basis to provide defensive cover? Can play all along the back line which would be a bonus. Pace has gone a bit but always had a lot of class ,which never quite goes, and played 17 games in the Prem last year Or is he too far over the hill now?

So far over the hill you need a telescope to see him. No way he'd fit into the Malky set up now.

I think I would take him back as cover, but would he be another Earnshaw? Would prefer Roger Johnson back. So to sum up, i'm undecided

Given the choice I'd go for Johnson every time.
Gabbidon at his peak would be another matter altogether.

I heard Gary Bell is available
Give him a go I would, he has a lot of premiership experience and could be a very useful squad player. Help the youngsters on ect.
Basically, it would be better to have Gabbidon than the youngster Nugent to warm the bench.

What youngster? The club only own 5 defenders and they are all over 25

Possibly my all time favourite city player of all time but I'd hate to see him back here doing an Earnshaw. The Gabbidon from six years ago would have been brilliant in the current team but that guy is long gone.

An Academy player Nugent (can't remember his first name) was on the bench for the Wolves game wasn't he? How old is he?•••••••™ wrote:Rhys wrote:Give him a go I would, he has a lot of premiership experience and could be a very useful squad player. Help the youngsters on ect.
