for me i have a wide variety of genres..... but i tend to go down the "covers" route... some r better than the original...

everyone remembers nirvana?.... the song lithium? well this cover by Thomas Pedersen is better than the original....

I genuinely do like a bit of everything, although I tend to avoid chart music. I really couldn't tell you a single number 1 from the last five years but I do listen to new music all the time.

If we're talking covers, I quite like these two Kate Bush songs. They definitely give them something else.

Better than the original? Not for me. It sounds like Nickleback singing Nirvana on karaoke. Pedersen has a purer, better controlled rock singer voice than Cobain but Nirvana songs were about energy and discord, which Cobain's voice had in abundance. Would we want Perry Como to croon Purple Haze?

Still, everyone is going have to try bloody hard to cause greater affront than Hannah Montana mustered with this. And why is she dancing like a TV aerial?

It's amazing how something that sounds so strange can pick up such a following. Hoomi is popular as well

I like anything that isn't popular. If it becomes popular though I then instantly hate it and tell everyone that will listen their older stuff was better.
