I don't think Malky, like the rest of us, were that impressed with him tbh. Now with Kimbo, Bellars, Harris, Cowie etc all capable of playing down the right, we just don't need him.

Someone has said on CCMB that we were on the verge of signing Lawrence but it broke down over money and we are now looking at other right wingers.I still find it difficult to believe that Malky wanted him.

He also said that Kimbo had failed his medical as he had small vestigial wings and his thorax was made entirely out of toffee apples... Lawrence was quoted in an interview a week ago saying there had been no approach from Cardiff City.

Would have been happy enough if we signed him at the start of the season, was our best player end of last season. However, we have more than enough cover in midfield now and I don't think he would get any game time. Wages also high aswell. Bellamy, Kim, Harris, Conway, Cowie, Whitts, Mason all able to play on the wing
