Its a bit of a stretch but emnes from Middlesbrough or a few young rangers players on the cheap

Filippo Inzaghi
A free agent after being released by Milan and would be well worth his wages. He's been a clinical finisher all his career and I reckon we should sign him to play with Mason.

Danny Murphy is on a free and I think would be a great replacement for McPhail, if needed. Despite his age he can still sit in front of the defence and dictate the play, similar to Scholes last season.
