I no this will get moved, but just wanted to know if posters on this forum are for keeping red, accepting red but hoping we go back blue or not really bothered?
Personally I am hoping we go back blue, am I on the wrong board?
Sorry if it's been done on this board

In the beginning i was willing to go red in order to accept the investment and do away with the constant annual threat of administration and liquidation that hangs of our club. i must admit though as time has gone on and i've had to read the same old bitter s**t on aamb and ccmb by those who can't accept the changes, i have started to resent some of these people and have thought f**k it i hope we stay red and these fans start fc cardiff or something. I know thats not great but i'm totally pissed off with seeing normal threads ruined by certain individuals who clearly think they speak for the majority!
While, initially, I was a little disappointed to change from blue, I very quickly realised that it really doesn't matter at all.
It is all about the club for me and, as luck would have it, I really rather like red too.

Any views welcome on this board mate, red or blue.
Personally, I'm quite similar to thehumblegringo but one day I would like to see us play in blue again but if that doesn't happen so be it.

I don't feel I will ever be 100% behind the club until we are blue, but have no bad feelings towards other fans. Agree with the comment about people speaking out as fans leaders and spokesmen.

give it another three months and a good start to the season and it'll be as if we've always played in red......Not saying this is a good thing but frankly, we are this close to the start of the season, and weve made some class signings, I could'nt really care less!

Same for me. Now I am going to actually buy the red kit and a programme at the first match.

What some of those who oppose the changes dont seem to grasp is that if they came across a little less bitter and angry and didnt glory so much in threads that label other fans sell outs and scabs, they might get a little more sympathy.

I actually like the red but would prefer a better quality badge. The club has needed a new image for a while. Many still associate the blue cardiff with the hooligan days and wont come near our club for that reason. Thats very sad to hear.
The times they are a changing, thats what Bob Dylan said.

Some well known KCB members have now started rubbishing anything the club does, not linked to the change of colour.
On ccmb yesterday a thread was started questioning the singing of Etien Velikonja, because we haven't had any rave reports about him in pre season games. He is only a kid who has just moved to a new club and country! Yet they like to claim to be the "real supporters" who would never accept a change of our colour. That some support!

As much as I respect a lot of CCMB posters I have to agree.
I would rather the club got rid of these fans even if it meant 2000 less coming to games.
Over time a new influx of fans will come with positive spirits and boost the team.
100% positivity of a 20,000 fan base is better than 95% positivity and 5% negativity in a 25,000 fan base IMO.
It does transfer to the pitch. Numerous players have come out and said the boos or certain chants have been the low points of their careers.

I just thought at the end of the day it was worth it. Yes our history has been blue but change colours and the debts go away? We change colours and incorporate a Dragon on the badge and we get a £100 million investment to build two new training grounds, increase the capacity of the stadium, turn the debts into equity and provide the manager with a massive transfer budget! Small price to pay. It's not like the bluebird has been taken away completely or they have changed the clubs name. We are still Cardiff City F.C. All the idiots who are pro blue I really couldn't give a toss about. Just brainless idiots if you ask me, that's my opinion though!

40 years ago I thought a change of colour to red was needed to change our fortunes, there being good psychological reasons to do so. Had visions of us having the majority of the Welsh squad, which would have greatly improved from playing together week in week out. We would have been Wales' club and had 3M supporters.
