Not going to this one, but have tickets for Saturday's qtr-final in Cardiff so GB had better win the group.

The pitch was awful for Brazil's match last week so hopefully it won't cause too many problems this evening, especially with 2 games being played there today.

Enjoy the game Gents. I shall be watching from the relative comfort of my sofa singing all the anthems on repeat just for good measure.

I feel your pain sir. I'm seriously worried what with the Euro's (senior and U19), the Olympics and the new season starting soon I might have to give up the tv remote for several years to redeem myself.

Mrs Arkay has shown little or no enthusiasm for football at all - she didn't even clap when City scored against Middlesboro when I took her to the CCS - until last night with the Ladies' football. Suddenly, she was very excited and glued to the TV apparently because she was supporting "her own".

I'm hoping to manipulate this to my advantage - try and get her addicted to ladies' footie then ween her onto the men's version. Remote control issues could very well be a thing of the past in the Arkay household...

As one of the corporate sponsors, I'll be going dressed as an empty seat.

A very pleasant evening. Started off in Browns then the City Arms. Meant to watch both games but finally got in the ground at 7.35!
Doubt if the game was great on tv but enjoyable in the ground because the atmosphere was good.
Bellers was everywhere.
