Just passed the stadium, seen them putting up the new badge. Using fabric with new badge to cover the old one, makes sense if we going to have different badge next season.

Ahhh, now THAT does make sense. Reckon they'll auction it off at the end of the season?

It looked odd when I went past about an hour ago. Because they had only put one up, on the corner of the Grandstand/ Canton and they hadn't taken down the Blues ones, it could appear to the passer by that 3 different teams play in there.
I have to say, and I think it's one thing that unites both sides, the badge is bloody awful.

I have been down there myself today.
Oddly, I also didn't really take to seeing the new badge on the stadium, although it might look better if the colour of the cladding was also changed. However, I did like the new strip, even with the new badge, in the club shop. It looks much better than on the net.

Im going tomorrow, and I share the previous two posts feelings without even witnessing it yet. It's sad, and it does feel we are losing a part of the club we can never get back. But ultimately the club is more than just a badge or a colour, and I'll always be a part of it.

We very easily can and I'm sure will eventually change back to blue at home.

But surely the only way back to blue in the short term is if VT's plan fails. Is that really what we want? I am willing to accept the hurt and hope that it pays off.
