Cardiff City Podcasts

Hey all,

I want to take part in a Cardiff City Podcast team, talking about transfers, who we'd like to see, reviewing current players, playing systems, youth team etc. etc.

Like a Cardiff City Player but much better and more for the fans.

What do you mean when you say you want to take part in a podcast? Do you mean one that is already set up or that you've set up a podcast yourself and you're looking for others to join you?

I would love to take part in one really, I remember listening to a few guys before who'd do podcasts during the season.

I would like to set-up my own in the near future but don't currently have the means for another few months or so before I can start what I'd like to do.

Think there'd be plenty of interest.

mmhh...interesting an RBMB podcast could be quiet interesting...no idea how we would go about making one...

Also, it maybe very short as we may just say that we all agree with each other!

We could do a round up of the latest from all the messageboards. People would listen to see if they get mentioned. We could have a funniest thread award, most controversial post award, the Splott David Conspiracy Honourary Mention and stuff like that. Just 20 minutes of whats been going on around the boards.

And preferably a shedload of decent quality recording equipment

I'm happy to be the voice - Have done plenty of off-the-cuff speaking on my blog without issue.

Recording equipment can be arranged, I'll just have to spend 30 mins on the phones to people ITK.

Colonel Cardiffi, I really like the idea you suggested there, and would want to implement that straight away! Maybe keep the mentioning of the messageboards brief, but entertaining.

I'd love to focus on getting short interviews from fans of Cardiff City from all different backgrounds that don't get identified by mainstream media.


There are so many great characters on this messageboard that I can imagine we could easily get 50 - 250 live viewers/listeners in a short space of time and then aim for over 1000 people as audience to playback the podcast.

We could try and keep a core value of bringing power and ownership of the club back to fans.
