I remember the game well but not the hatred as described. Didn't see any violence. Made my way out to the car and off. Couldn't believe the television pictures when I got home.
Madness. It's weird to have a moment in history you can be both proud of and ashamed of. Pride in the great atmosphere and win, shame in the coins thrown and idiot chairman.
Intimidating the opposition is what the crowd is supposed to do but some people just do not know where to draw the line, especially when in a crowd with diminished responsibility.
Still, a terrific win for City and a great day.

A game to remember for sure. On the way to the ground we looked at the Leeds team and it had goal threats everywhere. We agreed that our only chance was if they had someone, like Smith, sent off. Has he ever played in Cardiff without being sent off?
It was a hostile atmosphere. The guy sat next to me was quiet and admitted he was from Leeds, and was absolutely terrified.
