Today is a Significant Day Agewise

In view of my significantly advanced age from today, I had considered gracefully withdrawing from cyber life and ceasing contact with the callow youths on this board.
However, after consultation with my wife, she has assured me that there is a very fine line between senile and juvenile. Consequently, please be assured I will be carrying on as normal (whatever that is). :ancient smiley:

99 today eh? Congratulations. And to still have your wife with you at this advanced age too. Or is she a trophy wife?

She is a few years younger than me and calls herself a child bride but I think that's stretching the point a little.

For a man that has lived through the biggest wars the world has ever seen you seem remarkably chipper. Well done.

The wars were bad but the post traumatic stress I suffered after that Marvin Emnes goal is my worst memory.

The only difference between senile and juvenile is the direction of the time stream. However taking up adrenaline rush activities are now recommended. Die doing what you want to do even if it means spending a short time in prison. A life sentence is fortunately only limited to the time you have left.

I think there's a definite possibility that your statement may or may not be good advice.

God - Welcome to Heaven! Oh, wait, you only managed to serve a few days of a life sentence. We only let you in if you've rehabilitated yourself and served at least 40 years. Off to hell with you. I would say we'd reassess you in forty years, but we don't measure time up here.

That's a christian guilt thing they impose on you to keep you in place. Don't you know you create your own reality? If the road to hell is paved with good intentions then I imagine most will go there having created it in their own imagination. It's non attachment that wins you the prize. Unfortunately Footy boards invariably bring you a fast track ticket to hell before your time.

What have I done? What have I started? I only wanted somebody to wish me happy birthday.
