Fantasy Football Anyone?

It'll be my first year playing, so I've decided it'd be more fun to take on friendly faces as opposed to seasoned pro's that no doubt with ahnilate me.

How many of you would be interested in taking part in a private league? I'd choose a free to join game obviously and I just thought it'd be an interesting forum wide thing to do.

Post here if you are interested so I know whether it's worth my time setting it up, and feel free to offer site recommendations if you've played before. I'd probably go for sky sports as my scouting just now makes me think it has quite a nice format, but I'm open to all.

Thanks Arkay, I'll have a look. Going off sky sports looking into the scoring, as defenders and goalkeepers only true point scoring source are through retaining clean sheets. Kind of makes it pointless in my opinion, you're better off picking players from stronger teams who won't concede goals than truly talented defenders in teams that are known to let a few slip.

I'd much prefer a league that grades an individual defenders performance. You know, accumulative tackles, shot blocks, etc.

I don't know about you guys - but always play the Texaco Championship Fantasy Football - mainly as I know a lot more championship players than I do premier league.

We could get two private leagues going? One for the prem and one for the champ?

I'd be up for that long as get the numbers.

Maybe some forum related prizes as another minor incentive? Flair or RBMB points up for grab for league winner, best attack, best defence, etc?
