According to that, Millwall want a player exchange....let's give them Fabio or Burgstaller.............absolute madness, but anything is possible with this club.

Apparently Palace also interested in Malone, but Malone & Slade share the same agent.
Judging by the comments of the Millwall fans, I am not sure that he would be any better than we have. Unfortunately, I think this is the level we can expect from Slade.
Here is one of the more balanced posts I found.....
"Have to say I also agree. Malone can be one of the most frustrating players to watch. His main strength is he has ok pace and often gets into good attacking positions, however;
-His final ball is so poor it is so poor that it makes the good positions he get into pointless
-Then he is so far out of position that is exposes us at the back so we concede
- He often plays hospital passes or losses the ball needlessly when in defensive positions
- He is lightweight in the tackle...
For me he is a player we could afford to lose and his weakness contribute too much to our overall squad weakness. In our current predicament we need we need strong, disciplined and decisive players..
If he is gonna go on a free at the end of the season then think the club should sell him. But 75k is peanuts, think double that would still be cheap but better than nothing?!!"

Give them Fabio, john is younger and shows more promise.
I wouldn't want to be paying 75K AND Fabio though - straight swap.

They (the fans) appear to want Kenwyne, Maynard or Le Fondre.....
