Cardiff featured on the Premier League's website, being the first non-Premier League club to get finance from the PL Community Facilities Fund for the House of Sport II development:

The development of such facilities is what is showing the footballing world that there is more to Cardiff City FC than a team fighting for premiership status. Whatever 'the knockers' say, this club has been on the move and going in the right direction for some time now and IF we achieve our on field goals this season improved facilities will help to make us more attractive to potential transfer targets. Here's looking forward to a bright and prosperous, dare I say it, long lasting stay in the Premier League.
