we arer not killing teams off as we do not have a high scoring striker.

if we play 4-4-2 or 3-5-2 (watford) we insist on playing a free scoring midfielder as a sweeper and that thins down the midfield so we have to hoof and hope with one tall striker

so we play 4-5-1 and hopped that joe can cope after being frozen out. we were crossing balls into the box when he aint the tallest of strikers.

the rest of the team have to score goals because in our game plan the strikers cannot score goals

ideally we have to play 4-4-2 with a tall target man for a high ball, but run the risk of mackay then dropping whitts to sweeper and we know what the consequence is.

in many ways it can be argued that we do not have the right player balance in the squad

I think our perfect formation at the moment would be 4-5-2.

Unfortunately Dave i think the opposition might object Hows Everyone Feeling This Morning? - Page 2 692773407
