I also believe this guy is a City legend for his loyalty so far and I'm sure he'll still be here in a couple of years.
So I'm giving him his long overdue appreciation thread by posting his best goal in a City shirt.
The guy is a genius at times and this goal just sums him up with the technique used.

You can not buy the type of loyalty that he has soon. He is truly is a modern city hero. Here is one of my favourites of his..
As soon as he signs up to this forum, I think I'm going to give 250 rbmb points to show my appreciation

The type of loyalty shown by Whitts won't be around in a few years I fear.
That goal was brilliant. No fluke about it. Justifies his "does what he wants" chant very well.
Make him a moderator if he wants afterall he does do what he wants

What on earth made him think he could shoot from there mid-tackle? It's absurd.

Whitts would cause havoc if made into a mod - completely uncontrollable. Not sure I want to open that can of worms to be honest. I best just have a quiet word with him, ya know, let him down gently.

I have a feeling that we have not even seen the best of him yet. Just think of the quality of a couple of his goals last season - like Reading and Brighton - and nearly always critical ones. A special talent. A privilege to watch him.

Just a thought; if someone offered you Bellamy for Whittingham, would you take it? I wouldn't.

Whatever happens in future seasons the first name on the team sheet should always be Whitts, build teams around him because I agree with Man of Harlech in a well balanced team the best could still be yet to come from the lad

Whitts>>>>Bellamy IMO
With all the talent he has, he's chosen to stick with us through all the shitty money worries! Now that's a real City leg-end!

Whitts isn't better than Bellamy though they are a very different type of player.
Whitts has been great for Cardiff City, I do think he struggled to find his best position in MM's 4-5-1 formation last season though.
I think I'd prefer to see him out on the left in an advanced position with some pace on the right and Bellers in behind a striker with a bit of presence.
