I was only just watching this last night!!!
That 'clunk' as the ball hits the post is one of the most beautiful sounds.

Whittingham is a Cardiff legend and my all time idol. He just gets on with the job and has never let anything bother him. I had the privilege to meet the guy in the players lounge the season before last and he is a really humble, down to earth guy and even if he did decide to move on, I'd wish him all the best. His commitment to the club has been amazing all these years and he could have left after that 20+ goal season but he chose to stick around at a time when we needed him.

He has 55 goals in 225 games for us which is just over 1 in 4. Thats an insane amount considering of late he has been playing deeper and dictating play. I hope he sticks around for a good 5 years more because I think he can be that Xabi Alonso type at this level if Malky can get a good squad around him. Yes he takes pens and free kicks but they still need to be put in the net. He is a tremendous player and is everything a player should aim to be.

If he were to leave this summer to return home I wouldn't blame him one bit but hopefully he stays because I for one, and I know other Cardiff fans, idolise him.

Watching the Whittingham goal I also clicked on Chopra's goal against the jacks. God I loved that guy then. What a waste. He should have been a City legend.
