In case anyone is wondering what Andreas Cornelius is up to (aside from helping Denmark to go to Russia via Dublin):

These days I do have a habit of waking about 4 in the morning with all sorts of things running through my brain. Must admit, though, that that wasn't one of them.

2 goals last in in a 5-1 thrashing of Everton.

Malky was right, he was one for the future.

In truth, I thought most of Malky's signings had potential or could at least do a job for us. We overpaid massively for Cornelius which meant a huge amount of pressure on a young player finding his feet and moving to the Premiership. If a more sensible fee had been agreed he could've been allowed more time to adjust and develop and could very well have been a shrewd signing. He wasn't the answer to our prayers for the Premiership season but he could've done a real job for us on our return to the Championship.

Ah well, nevermind eh?

There was something massively wrong about the Cornelius deal. Just promoted to the Premier League with cash to spend and Malky wastes £9m or whatever on a young unproven striker. Over paid on the deal for a player who wasn't suitable.

Incidentally, Guido Burgstaller - one of Ole's signings - is on fire for second-place Schalke in the Bundesliga.

Scored the first with a smart header with Schalke coming back from 0 - 4 down to draw 4 - 4 v Dortmund in their local derby this weekend. Some great goals in this game.
