Sheffield Wednesday missing a number of star players through injury just like Preston were. We're bound to win.

I just don't understand why Warnock didn't make more than the sole change. If the team were knackered on Tuesday, why did he expect that to be fixed four days later?

I can see Tomlin starting the next game, maybe with Ward.

Just watched the short highlights again and City had a couple of really good chances from set pieces.
Not shown, but on the two occasions that M-L & Zohore looked to have beaten defenders and should have been away, they were cynically obstructed and pulled down respectively. The offenders were quite rightly booked, but the point is that I don't think there is much wrong with the team.
More composure in midfield was needed yesterday and the team (Bennett in particular) was guilty of giving the ball away with poor passing.
Zohore needs a goal, but once he does score, I am sure that will lift his game again. He looked flat yesterday, but service to him was very poor.
At least there is a full week until the next game. It will be a long trip up to Sunderland, but I think this is a brilliant time to play them.
