Not surprising really considering Halford hasn't looked great there, we are trying to sell a few players and an injury to Gunnarsson, Ralls or Damour would leave us looking very light

Said on here a few days back that we are a midfield loanee away from being a really decent side. Not sure if he is after experience or youth, but the fact that they will be back-up suggests that it is the latter.

A battling playmaker would be good.

O'Keefe & Halford as the hub of midfield are not going to do it.
I wonder whether we might eventually see Bennett pushed further wide forward with Richards at LB. There is also competition at RB Between Peltier and Paterson when fit. Paterson can also play further forward.
It's the central midfield that lacks cover.

Still no club and about to be named in the Wales squad.
If he's holding out for a big pay packet he's not being very bright because he must have lost thousands already. Then again, perhaps he's waiting for City.
I'd take him on a year's contract as a backup - don't think his legs can haul it regularly over 90 minutes these days. It seems he's already turned down several Championship clubs, so who knows what he's holding out for.

He's also turned down Chinese and Turkish clubs and said he doesn't want to drop to the Championship. So it really is a mystery as Cardiff would surely be a decent move for him

Ledley would probably consider City if they are seen as genuine promotion candidates. A couple more wins should do that.

He would certainly be a good addition to what we already have

Looks like a change of approach, as NW is asking for funds to buy.

Either Ledley is waiting for a top flight club, which seems strange given that nothing has happened yet, or Warnock isn't interested in him
