Possibly not the best headline but Wales Online are reporting that Maccabi Tel Aviv, 23 times Israeli champions and competitors in next seasons Champions League, want Aron Gunnarsson for £3million

I can't see it happening, it would create far too many problems in central midfield with the area being a bit of a weakness last season as well as Whitts leaving and no signings in this area being made

Neil Warnock is holding his cards near his chest, but he did hint that he might have to lose a key player or two to balance the books. An extra £3m might be useful in the bigger scheme of things. However, I think it unlikely, given that a similar bid for Morrison was turned down. Of the two players, I know which one would be least missed.
I've lost the link now but there was a Tweet earlier today (in polish) that linked Gunns to Legia Warsaw too. Not sure what truth there is in this but perhaps he is being discreetly touted around clubs?

Gunnarsson's agent says no plans to talk to other clubs, with WO speculating that there may be an improved contract in the offing for the player.
I still think he should be club captain. There are lingering doubts about Morrison, but it is difficult to drop your captain. Certainly if Manga stays, there is a potential headache at CB.

This paves the way for a Bamba/Manga partnership
