I'm not sure, I think it might be interesting to see it pan out. Chelsea were too harsh on the man who was attempting to completely renovate the clubs play style. He got critiscised for poor squad choices but he picked the individuals that would fit into his new ethos, It was very unlikely to work immediately.
He wants to see posession based football enter English leagues a lot more, which inherently I see nothing wrong with (apart from when posession is earned by repeated safe back passing. I'm looking at you, Swansea and Spain). If he's allowed to take on the project of long term renovation at Spurs, they could definetely be a force to be reckoned with.

His record at Porto was incredible. 51 games, 45W 4D 2L on his way to winning 4 trophys in one season. Like Red614 said, the Chelsea job was too much for him as he was never going to be given time like he hopefully will at Spurs.
