Warnock has now made three signings and last season he said that he wanted four or five new faces. However, we may bring in more for the following reasons;

- two goalkeepers have left (Amos and MacGregor) and only one has come in (Etheridge)

- with the signing of Paterson and with Bennett playing well at the end of the season, Warnock may want to play with three centre-backs. With Manga possibly going, we might be short in this area, hence the link with Ben Meneghan and more surprisingly, Grant Hanley

- if Whitts leaves, we will be lacking in central midfield as Warnock didn't seem impressed with O'Keefe or Huws and we have recently had unlikely links to Charlie Adams and Joe Ledley

- Kadeem Harris hasn't yet committed to City (although a new deal is likely) and we may need to sign a replacement if he leaves, with Noone certain to go and Pilkington a possibility to leave as well

- Warnock has said that he wants backup for Zohore

Consequently, which area(s) do you think we should be looking at strengthening?

Assuming we've got Danny Ward (the striker one) then midfield for me, for all those reasons you so eloquently waffled on about.

Based on nothing other than instinct, I get the impression that Harris is playing hardball over a new contract. His breakthrough campaign last season, after what feels like a decade doing little, has given him some room to manoeuvre. Would not be all that bothered to see him move on.

I feel like that, I think Warnock has given him a chance and made him a better player and he deserves to show Neil a bit of respect and sign a new contract. If after a decent 65% of the season he expects to have his wages doubled he needs a reality check and may find that the grass isn't always greener

This vote has not given Neil a strong and stable mandate to purchase a midfielder City's possible signings 4228682415

Looks like he's going to have to ask for permission from Tan to form a coalition with Craig Bellamy City's possible signings 4228682415
