If only Trash wasn't in my basement

Well it's safe to say that I have man flu. I haven't slept all night and so I've now given up trying and have gone downstairs to drink tea in sorrow while watching The Homesman, a film that is as melancholic as I feel. Things are so bad I'm almost tempted to take Trash's mask off and release him from the basement so that I can chat to him because the Mrs is selfishly sleeping through my pain

Man flu melancholia is the worst, particularly when the opposite sex don't have the decency to feel sorry for you or attend to your every whim and demand. In the brochure I read on marriage before I signed up, I'm pretty sure that was part of the deal and, yet, turns out it's not. Bloody small print.

It does seems like the ideal time to start a new and guilt-free game of Football Manager, I mean, what else are you going to do with all that time and moaning?

Also, can Trash come out to play please?

I keep asking him if he wants to play but it seems that he can't answer as his mouth is full

The most up-to-date FM I have is 2013 and consequently it features a Cardiff team filled with the likes of Odemwingie and it's too much effort to update it all
