Okay, post here speculation or thoughts on James Rowberry, Bellamy, San Pellegrino's assistant or anything else relevant, irrelevant or irreverent........
Steve Maclaren, surprised he's interested myself

Any manager out of a job will be interested. Those who believe anyone with a good reputation wouldn't work under VT is seriously deluded.

Trollope is now massive odds on - 1/8 with some bookies.
The dark side are also saying that Bellamy and Warnock were never contenders because the Emperor only wants somebody he can get on with (a yes man?).

The Immers' signing makes more sense if there is not going to be a significant change of management personnel. A good player, no doubt about that, but I thought it odd the club moving to sign a player whilst actively looking for a new Head Coach, who may have his own ideas.

.........and why not? Previous managers have wasted so much of his money and, ultimately, have achieved the square root of diddly squat...........

A cup final and promotion to the premier league for the first time in our history is diddly squat in your books is it TDA?

True to a point.
The big cash injection came after the League Cup Final and promotion season. Expenditure beforehand had been relatively modest. The non-events of last three seasons must have been crushingly disappointing for Vincent Tan, as much as for everyone else.

His name keeps coming up. I loved him as a player, but there is something of the non-conformist/rebel about him that probably wouldn't sit well with the regime at Cardiff.

According to WalesOnline, Trollope will be confirmed today. I'm underwhelmed.

It's no good us complaining because the reality is that other forums are celebrating and approve of the appointment. Unfortunately they're for Bristol City fans.
