Our top f*cking scorer. If this happens any thin slithers of hope I had that Vincent Tan wasn't throwing us to the dogs is gone.

Actually, maybe I shouldn't have said it. We all know City staff read this forum intently and I may have given them the idea... coat

Incidentally, Rhys Healey's loan move to Newport has been declined this evening. Recalled from Colchester to get more game time elsewhere, but the club didn't realise he's ineligible to play anywhere else until the end of the season.

If my thinking is correct, what makes it laughable is that all of the transfers involving the Welsh clubs playing in the English Pyramid need international clearance, even those involving British or even Welsh born players, especially in this case when all the lad has to do is walk a few miles down the road to kick a football. Welsh F A rules seem to govern disciplinary processes, whilst English F A rules seem to govern the player registration processes. Maybe someday someone will clarify everything so that everyone will understand how football legislation works. (Then pigs might fly as the saying goes)

There's a very simple answer-the FA doesn't recognise the UK as a country because it's constituents have chosen to put forward different international teams and different league structures, so Wales is considered foreign in a way no different to Spain, France or Germany.

Nathan Blake has his say on the matter and probably sums up the feelings of the fans very well.
