Would make sense, the premier league have done everything but admit that Crystal Palace were guilty. And 25,000 pounds is a pretty pathetic fine at the premier league level. We were only relegated by six points remember - we could of made 3 of those up against Palace potentially.

Don't think much of the fine, as you say by Premier League standards its not a lot. Think I was still clinging on with hope that Cardiff would get out of it. Do you think even without knowing the team they wouldn't of won or is that not the point?

All to do with dealing in "utmost good faith" and Palace didn't. City are basing their proposed action on £25m revenue lost by relegation and that the "unfair advantage" that Palace had was contributory.

I expect a lot of sabre rattling, but I reckon City are after Moody's head at the end of the day.

Do you think if it goes to the Sports Arbitration Council it will go in Cardiff's favour? Just a feeling acting or not acting in good faith wont hold up

You'd need a sports specialised lawyer to answer that confidently. You can make a case that it cost us three points, but I'm not sure if you could pin the blame for relegation upon it. I'd certainly be trying though - cheating is cheating.

We would never get our relegation reversed as that is too complicated but the fine handed out to Palace could be dramatically increased, and Cardiff could receive damages amounting to millions of pounds, as they could argue that their form dropped away significantly following a heavy loss to a team that had used insider knowledge to pick their team and tactics.

But Malky and Moody are in big trouble whatever happens. The fees being paid to agents are outrageous. One £600,000 transfer resulted in the agent receiving the same amount as his fee!

I believe it would be very difficult to get a court to support the action.  Nevertheless, I am sure Palace will not want a long drawn out affair in the public eye, so I expect a quiet settlement to be reached.  It looks like Moody is already on his way out, which I am sure would have been one of Tan's demands.

Rumour has it that one of the players concerned had connections to Palace rather than Malky & Moody, but with any luck, whoever it was, I hope they are outed and suitably disciplined.

Cowie and Taylor both had Palace connections and have since left but that's just idle speculation on my part.

Cowie was offered a new contract, so probably not him. Allegedly, the player involved was not a permanent member of the squad

I think your suggestion seems more credible!

It's alleged that two players were involved.

Very true, but you know what rumours are..............I have heard Gunnarsson's name mentioned again, but only in so far that it was his phone used and without his knowledge......he could be the "other player" although completely innocent.

Gunnarrson wouldn't be getting the game time he's getting now if he was responsible, Tan wouldn't stand for it. I'd look at the players that have left since Solskjaer took over.
