In what has to be one of the most shameless pieces of journalism I think I've ever seen, the echo has used a whole front page to declare themselves wrong for supporting Vincent Tan, and have now gone back to blue.

Whatever happened to newspapers being about unbiased, straight to the point journalism? Since when were they allowed to take sides?

Got to say fair play to them. They were wrong when the rebrand was first announced, they've now apologised.

I don't disagree with them, I just don't think a supposedly impartial newspaper should be picking a side. Opinion columns do that all the time, but it shouldn't be plastered over your front cover in a cheap tactic to garner favour.

But alas, I guess that's why I don't buy tabloids. I want the news so I can make up my own opinion, not a deliberately manipulated to one point of view version.

Well said Red.

It's the very reason on the times that I've had to work for The Sun/NOTW I've had to go and scrub myself down afterwards. Horrible, manipulative agenda led dailies with no real interest in detailing objective facts but every interest in selling more copy. As we have seen in the last few years, they are willing to do or say absolutely anything to achieve that.

It's exceedingly hard not to see this move by the Echo as opportunist bandwagon jumping after a notable swing in fortunes at the club. If we'd stayed in the Premier League can you honestly say they would've come up with this headline? The cynic in me says, not a fucking chance so do not be fooled by their rhetoric now.

I just wish they were printed on more absorbent paper so I actually could wipe my arse with them.

I honestly can't see where all this going.... Tan is not going to change his mind and I could potentially force him from the club. The difference from two years ago is that most fans, it appears, are no longer fearful about that happening.

Either way, something has to be done

To be fair, trying to write a message on your phone with just your right thumb whilst wrestling with a one year old is not a great idea!

Also, why are Annis Abdaham's views being headlined? We already have his sidekick purporting to write a weekly column.
Perhaps Dai Thomas & Scam Hamman can have a regular column as well.
