First topic message reminder :
Another difficult week for our club, with more off-field issues hot on the back of a shocking home result against Hull.
Spurs are a team close to my heart and usually every bit as unpredictable as City. It would be nice to think that City could halt the slide and grind out at least a draw and all would be well. I'll go 0 - 0, as I can't see how we are going to score. On the other hand, Lennon and Adebayour could well share four goals........
My team....let's go out all guns blazing!

The drama queen that is Chico Flores has gotten himself sent off for Swansea, and Glenn Murray has resumed normal service and equalised with a penalty. Cheers Swansea, needed that.

So, Fulham next week is our umpteenth must win game this season right?

WE MUST WIN IT!
Actually, theoretically we need at least 6 wins from the remaining 10 to guarantee survival. We MIGHT get away with less if other teams keep ballsing up but given our luck this season, i wouldn't count on that at all.
Err, I'd say, we're as good as down.

Anything less than a win and thats not only the last nail but the coffin will already be halfway in the ground.
Theres still these to come -
Fulham @ Home
West Brom @ Away
Palace @ Home
Stoke @ Home
Sunderland @ Away
Thats 5 of the 6 that would guarantee survival. Since it would also cost all our rivals three points, that would probably be enough.
We need to take the system today that looked effective and stick with it. Maybe remove a defensive player and let Mutch lead the midfield, but then we need to see the team get used to playing with each other and developing effective movement.
We NEED to win against Fulham or it is all over. Its that simple.

That's fair enough and it has been done in the past. It'd be nice to take the lead for once and not spend 70mins chasing the game! It actually seems like we have a team with enough pace and guile to be an effective counter attacking force but as we are ALWAYS losing teams just sit back, close down the space and leave us vulnerable instead.
Starting well in the Fulham game has to be priority.

Mutch didn't look match fit today, but hopefully will be moreso by next week. Start a fully fit Mutch instead of Gunnarsson and I reckon the 3 centre back-system might work.
