No real surprises, he denies changing back to blue, criticises Malky (Again) and everything else you've come to expect.

The reason I draw attention to it however, is this quote -

'According to Tan, the club's only outstanding debt is about £70m-£80m owed to him, and he will decide in due course whether or not to convert that into equity.'

So, what happened to that promise it was a a good as done after the Langston agreement? Don't tell me we are backtracking again, as I thought he was so trustworthy...

Well he doesn't hold his punches does he?

I think the consistent abuse he recieves, coupled with the fact that he can't float the club on eastern stock exchange, is the reason why he is reconsidering paying off his debt.

Who knows how this saga will all end up finishing, frankly I'm getting very tired of it.

It will only end when Tan leaves - I think in one way or another he will always have a level of controversy about him whether he means to or not.

And in an attempt to be fair, I agree some of our fans do him owe him an apology for various actions. He has been the victim of racial abuse, and he's also been the victim of untrue rumours meant to discredit his reputation further. He has also seen his employees and their families viciously abused on Twitter and Facebook if they dare to accidentally reveal that they know vincent Tan, as I showed a few days ago. I don't like him and I feel he's a virus to the club, but I also sympathise that some people have gone too far.

He seems to have a strange knack of stirring things up just as they're quietening down.

Citygent highlighted on twitter that pulling this stunt on the season ticket deadline day is unbelievably bad management and PR, and will probably hurt the club. Although you could also argue that at least he's being honest, and not withholding the truth just to make money.

Things would be undoubtedly better if he just kept quiet for once, but it doesn't appear to be in his dictionary.

IMO, Tan has been clearly hurt by his treatment by elements of the City "faithful" and, to such an extent, that he reconsidering the floatation and conversion of the loans to equity.

He may well have brought much of this on himself, but I understand his stance and don't blame him for it (his present stance) one bit.

Imo, the idiots who run AAMB aren't upset because of the colour change, they're upset because they think they're an important part of the club, and under Tan they aren't being treated as such. There's no private meetings, no inside information, and they have no say on anything. They're being treated as 'normal' fans.
Why do you think they want their mate Sam Hammam back at the club? He's a lying, devious, money grabbing little c*nt, but that's ok because he made them feel special.

Sounds like season ticket and shirt sales are well down at the moment given the various "extensions" and "special offers" being thrown around by the club.

If fans played this 'hard to get' every season we could get some really tasty deals for ourselves  :bounce: Vincent Tan's BBC interview 1525230823

The season ticket deadline has been extended, which screams desperation. I also passed the City store in the arcade yesterday - there's still a blue shirt in the window but it's back to 90% red again now. I don't want to think the club were deliberately trying to con us with false hope, but I'm struggling.
