Good way to concede from set pieces when you remove all height from the back four. Medel plays centre back for Chile because they aren't blessed with options there. He's simply not tall enough to pull it off in the premier league.

Not a bad idea this playing him at centre half, when he played for Chile against England from what I remember he took care of Rooney.

He plays CB with Chile, though it's as part of a back five.
