He's a young product of Manchester United's academy who's won titles in his home country of Norway and has been touted as a prospect as good as Xavi or Iniesta. £4m for someone with that potential is nothing really. Also, Manchester United wanting to dive in at the last moment to snatch him off us tells you everything you need to know about how good he is. They would have just said 'no thanks' if they didn't think he had it.

If Solskjaer learnt anything from Malky's tenure, it's that Tan doesn't tolerate spending millions on players only for them to never play. That price tag should indicate we will see him at least semi-regularly.

Diouf is coming for less than 3 million reportedly, so compare that...

Daehli, Eikrem and Diouf are all better than Cornelius and will cost less.

If that's true then it is a lot. He is a really big talent but really only played for half a year in the Norwegian PL. Played 12 games in total, 7 from start and 5 in from the bench. Average 5,78 out of 10. As I've mentioned before he is a player for the future, but 4m is too much. Daily Mail says 2.5m and that would be in the correct area in my opinion. I do think we will get to see him play in the BPL this year but only as a sub.

CityGent did say the fees for Eikrem and Daehli are much lower than reported. We paid double What Heerenveen paid to get him so early so that cost us around 2 million,and he reckons combined they cost us less than 5 million. So I'm with Ludd, 2.5 sounds about right.

Interestingly, Diouf is reportedly only costing us 3 million. That would mean OGS has only spent 8 million of his supposed 25 million budget. Tan wil be happy at least....

I really, really hope we sign a quality goalscorer. If we don't...I'm not comfortable pinning our hopes on Fraizer

Im gonna hold my hands up and say I got it wrong, Tony Rivers reckons apparently we paid 600k for daehli, (excellent bit of buisness) I was told 4million, I passed on what I heard.
